This set of 2 goblet-shaped artworks is a part of Tamara Efrat's Bauhaus set. The project is inspired by the women of the Bauhaus institution. At the time, women practiced crafts (not arts or architecture).
The set is a translation of weaved carpets into surface topography. The woven textiles were transformed into three-dimensional objects using a digital mapping tool and a 3D printer. Tamara reconstructed the techniques and methods used to create textiles and created beautiful porcelain objects.
