Tamara Efrat | תמרה אפרת
Tamara is a multi-disciplinary artist. Her project is inspired by the women of the Bauhaus institution. At the time, women practiced crafts (not arts/architecture). The set is a translation of weaved carpet into surface topography. The woven textiles were transformed into three-dimensional objects using a digital mapping tool and a 3D printer. Tamara reconstructed the techniques and methods used to create textiles and created beautiful porcelain objects.
